We did have an eye on the weather which was why we put so much into the first few days. The rain arrived Wednesday morning.
The rain benefits the trees.
The grass.
The flowers.
The rooftop gardens
The statues.
The animals
The fish
And those familiar birds that aren't intimidated by cars!
The buildings
The ponds
The waterways
The rain leaves a clean fresh feeling just about anywhere.
The highlight of the day was making our way through Times Square to attend a show.
The Lion King was delightful mid week treat and probably the peak of our week.

ReplyDeleteI was at LaGuardia airport yesterday and Long Island all of last week. I missed you and yet we were so close. It was cold Tuesday and now I am in Omaha, NE and it hit 100 degress.
