My Monday Morning time - 3Mt

Doing it!

My-  this is all about me committing to doing creative things that inspire me and make me Joyful!

Monday- this is the start, the beginning, of my week.  I like beginnings. :)

Morning- this is my shoot out of bed, shoe the Rooster out the door and scoot into my playroom.

time- is now.

I kinda like to have everything tidy and after the weekend it does need that. But I get side tracked so cleaning is for that first afternoon.  Not the morning.  And if I just happen to play well into the afternoon, well, by golly I'll make time to clean on Tuesday!

Tuesday's Tool Time could include the vacuum and the dust bunny brush. ;)

I realize that faced with all my saved inspirtion files, my saved tutorials, my saved stash, my saved supplies, patterns, etc. ...  well, I think I need to set some perimeters.

I'm still working on decorating  the front room and making things for my home is important to me.  I need  some fibre wall art.  The space is approximately 3' x 3' but could be a rectangle.  Sew...

Needs to transition through the seasons 'cause who knows when I'll get to the next one.

Colour palette-  warm, solids or mostly solids.

Fabric- hand dyes, stamped, stenciled

Images- houses (doors, windows), trees, (cone shaped evergreens, some deciduous)

Layout- manageable bites so probably a grid

Style- representational    The word "representational," when used to describe a work of art, means that the work depicts something easily recognized by most people.  Here is hoping!

  6. I love the idea of tidying when you are finished with the inspiration, not first using up all your energy.

Thanks for visiting the Coop! I'm happy to respond to comments. I believe the comment will post whether you verify or not as I didn't invite the robot. ;^) Blessings from elle! :)
