Maybe you are finishing a few projects (one of your 2012 words), or maybe you are still stuck under a blanket getting well or rested.

I'm in a yahoo group with Liz and she is wonderful. I really like her mixed media book, and her advise on thread has always stuck with me: "Buy the best thread you can afford." Looks like you have lots of thread! Mine seems to be at the "old age" stage of its life cycle!

Happy belated New Year. Sorry I wasn't around sooner. Thanks for visiting me, even though I was unable to reciprocate. And as a knitter, I see yarn as just very thick thread and I have a great deal of that.Leannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16285223648285145607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7291320690041768767.post-12792555072958843302012-01-05T23:58:36.099-06:002012-01-05T23:58:36.099-06:00thread! oh you made me drool. I use big flat clear 12x12 scrapbooking cases to store them in, and i roll them in that 'amazing tape' stuff. It's like cling things you'd put in a window. Now I love Aurifil 50 weight and Isacord threads, and go through lots of it! I also love YLI Soft Touch but it creates a lot of lint in my machine, so it's not one of the best, at least in my humble opinion.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18331732432479030135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7291320690041768767.post-88263514918722485912012-01-05T05:03:41.754-06:002012-01-05T05:03:41.754-06:00Very interesting information. I will be interested in finding out more about thread, I must admit that I don't tend to accumulate much of it, as I tend to use whatever I have on hand,Michelle in Saskatoonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00341966725995063051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7291320690041768767.post-82330124951959565972012-01-04T12:18:56.150-06:002012-01-04T12:18:56.150-06:00And I thought I had a lot of thread. Machines are very fussy when it comes to thread and quality is the best thing I learned.
