FEATHERING The NEST

Making it mine!  Making it comforting, welcoming, cosy, cute!

Perhaps the greatest appeal to quilting was not only the visual excitement of colour and pattern but the ability to add my own decorative elements to my home.  It also caused me to analyze what I liked and what I didn't.  My taste and style have not only changed but have really evolved.

I'm certainly self taught as I've read and bought and experimented.  I've learned to rearrange, repurpose, renew, and rethink.  I've enjoyed it immensly.   And I'm happy to share what has worked for me.

We live in a 1930's farmhouse and like any old house it is a everlasting Work In Progress!
