In my great advanced age I have finally learned that “you can’t do it all”!
And when it comes to using the big boy tools in projects, I never wanted to do it all.
Don’t tell my rooster, but very often I purposely start something knowing his frowns will quickly motivate him to ‘take over’. Then I’d go off and tackle something more to my liking. Unfortunately, he, in his great age, is catching on! Now he blocks off my escape route and ‘we’ get to work together. Of course, this is not totally a bad thing. I get to tweak the details and he gets to offer some surprisingly creative options.
First thing this chick learned was to have him look in his back pocket when he can’t find his tool!
