wow, I still have to shop.

I haven't quite got Nina humming.

The orange top needs some more orange fabric options which will happen tomorrow.

I did find in my cleaning and organizing another wip.  Two in fact.

A table cloth, about 42 inches square

and a table runner,  10 inches by 30 inches.  Who knows when I did them but they are ready for layering.

I did find some backing options and one WILL definitely be the backing.

I am leaning to the middle fabric. The fabrics in the upper right are too small.  :(   The grey/brown on the left has to be from the first year I was quilting.  oye!

But I need a dark brown (?) for a binding so my shopping list is growing.

This was in my crazy patch days.  Not where I am at now but definitely worth finishing.  I have one of those small round tables with the long floor length table cloth in the dining room and the toppers add to their appeal.

I'm not at all sure how I will quilt it.  ???

Perhaps some of  participants in The Needle & Thread Network will have some great ideas!

Don’t you love finding something that is almost done! And the second time round you can look at them with a fresh eye and whip them up in no time! Leaning toward meandering quilting with some leaves or simple flowers in the mix.

I have a few quilted table top pieces but I bought them from a quilter. This is one art form I will leave to the pros.
I always love your colour choices.

Lovely table topper and runner. I like you middle fabric choice. I also like the suggestion of leaves quilted. Check that list twice dear...shopping this time of year is crazy busy. Be safe and stay cozy my friend...

I love when I find WIP's that are a different style than I am now. Your table runner is my favorite! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I find there is lots of satisfaction in finding a project and actually finishing it off! Well done!

It's so satisfying to finish up old projects. From what I can see, I like the middle fabric too for backing.
Since its crazy patch with no two alike maybe an all over quilting design would do. You can simply stipple or go with something more. It's a great way to practice!

Leah day did a design that would be quite eye catching on this piece. Although maybe a little more labour intensive I think it would look great. http://www.freemotionquilting.blogspot.ca/2012/06/quilt-along-20-modern-quilting-design.html
