Love the leaves, Elle! I would love to see that contrast with the leaves on the background. Do you have anything in similar colours to make a few more leaves. The quilt already has wonderful movement, but you could really add something with a whole bunch of falling leaves.
My camera is talking back to me and I will take it in ASAP. But perhaps that will give me some time to practice with the leftover block, the stencil, and some paint. I probably do have something compatible in my stash, the also rans! But I think I need to obscure the block edges with thread, paint, and embellishments before I afix the 3-d leaves.
I love the blocks, Elle! The colours and shapes are great and I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with the leaves. The only bit I'm not sure about is the beading at the bottom - I think it's a bit distracting and pulls my eye away from the blocks too much.
Thanks KT! luv your name! The beads are a necklace I just kinda draped. I'm actually planning to have strings of seed beads hanging down, maybe something bigger on the end. I dunno!
