Ticking off the trys!

First I must say that I am just plain TICKED!  What a winter.  Last night's gale force winds broke branches, lifted and tossed shingles and deposited 5 foot snow drifts.  Hard packed snow!   argggh!  The far left side of the photo shows my fence and my clothes line!  :(

Most frustrating.

Good thing I can quickly get into smiley mode when I'm in the play room!

I am really happy with stenciling on the gelli plate and then transferring the image and especially the reverse image to fabric.  It is also possible to get a ghost image when you 'clean' the stencil with a baby wipe and chase/swipe the excess into the open areas of the stencil.   The three papers on the right show the three ways.  I am very happy!  :)

You definitely do not need any more snow. Thankfully you are able to play and make some wonderful stencilings. Hot Chocolate Hugs...

What a blizzard. I am glad you are safe, though, and I hope the Rooster doesn't have to go out in it.

Love what you are trying with the gelli. For someone like myself who has wanted one for three years, I've not even opened my package, yet. I guess I'll come to you for lessons!

I agree that there is a lot to Canada. Unfortunately, I didn't know much about it when I first started my O Canada spread. Ther first thing I learned was there were three territories I had heard of, but never knew were part of Canada. That's why I represented both seas, from west (Vancouver) to east (Halifax, Nova Scotia) in my spread. I was given the Ontario magnet and removed the magnet part so I could use it in the spread. Otherwise, Ontario would never have been selected, or even on my radar (grin).
