A blurry breakfast but hopefully a clear itinerary for the day!
The conference for me was about NOT defining people by their disabilities but helping them to take their place in the world as viable parts of a whole. I took anything that would help give the girls that I work with confidence to express themselves as valuable and contributing members of our community. Each of us has to have that internal 'want to' but it takes a supportive community to help each one of us reach our God-given potential.
The lunch break this second day had us boarding the subway and the end of the run- Ground Zero.
A city of contrasts as narrowness of the streets, the expansiveness of the pools and the quietness of the church yard nearby attests.
After an informative afternoon my roommate and I decided on a relaxing supper where we could watch the people walk by.
With daylight fading we didn't have the time to fully explore this wonderful green space. Next time!
All those wonderful pillows, a quick pinch or two and a snuggle, a snore and some sleep!

It looks like you had a great conference! It's fun to be learning and visiting new places at the same time.
Our world does expand when we are able to get out of our own zone and mingle with others in their environment. This opportunity to travel and learn and explore will stay with you forever. And how wonderful that you can now expand your girls in their own worlds of Creativity 101 and help them blossom into their full potential. Happy Hearts Dear...
