I need a quick and fun project to get me back in the quilting groove again. I could pick up with any of the dozen wips (works in progress) I have or I can start a whimm (work hidden in my mind). There are even more of them! Guess what I chose?
I have been seeing some quilts from Cheryl and Amanda's book, Sunday Morning Quilts. The one on the bed is the one I'm liking. I'd luv to do it in a lighter look but this will get me started.
Lots of great quilts out there to get anyone inspired and for some inspiration, I'm linking up to The Needle and Thread Network.

Yay for you back to quilting. Your fabrics are morning sunshine and fresh orange juice all blended together. I, too, have been seeing lots of scrappy quilts...even using labels and selvege edgings and whatever else I don't know. They actually look pretty cute. Happy Quilting Dear...
I love it:) The fabrics you have chosen are gorgeous.
Yummy colors! The bedroom is going to become a bathroom? You really are shaking things up.
I love it! And I love your acronym for whimm.
Beautiful, cheerful colours!

This will be a very cheerful quilt and should brighten any room.
Beautiful strip quilt! I love the colours you chose.
love the colors in your strip quilt Elle. Thank you for stopping by.
Intertwined is quite easy to quilt so far.
LOVE the colours elle! This is really pretty.
I love the colors! Definitely happy.
It used to be quite rare to see those oranges and yellows and golds in a quilt - years ago I did a yellow challenge and had a terrible time just finding fabrics in those colours... Love your choices!
gorgeous and cheery fabrics! it will be amazing when done...terrific idea to keep it simple. love the "whimm" --haven't heard that one before!
So you are back quilting, using up gorgeous fabric, will have to go fabric shopping.....I am envious!
I love that you are quilting and in beautiful oranges too! I think a room for all the grandchildren and other guests sounds wonderful.
